New Build No Post

Hi guys, 

 

I just recently upgraded a pc

 

specs:

r9 5900x

asus tuf x570 plus wifi

geil ddr4 3600mhz c18 2x16gb

samsung 950 pro 512 gb(from old pc) 

inno3d 1080 ti(from old pc) 

seasonic 850 plus titanium (from old pc) 

 

i updated the bios on the motherboard using a 3200g

 

version 4010(beta)currently

 

also tried downgrading to version 4002(stable)

 

was able to enter desktop once using the 5900x but after restarting it won't show pics(black screen) 

 

but if i put the 3200g in it boots to desktop just fine

 

i'm suspecting it's the processor but it's brand new

 

when it boots it beeps once, then once and 3 beeps

 

help is appreciated

I have to ask.... Did you remember to switch the cable back to the graphics card if you changed it for running the 3200G?

it could also be a graphics card problem as the 3200G has integrated graphics.

Beta bios perhaps?

I have the same board an updated for for soon to be here 5900x. Not beta which I would say never to do. Personal preference though for such issue.

Have you tried the newest stable bios?

Is on of the led lights on the board "stuck" before posting with the green?

i did, was able to enter the desktop once but no more after restart it just keeps giving me the 1 and 3 beeps

yeah, it beeped like that when i first put the 5900x before updating with the 3200g too so confusing

Yeah, this sounds like a GPU problem. Try without the 1080 and just the 3200G to see if it still does it.
