discord activity status wont turn off

I've spent last 2 days now trying to turn off discord activity status. I turn it off remove any found games, and launch a game. It continues to just show the game im playing... It's gotten to the point I'm afraid I may need to just make a new discord account.

That one will show. What the Current Activity as Status Message will do is no longer show it to others in servers to see what game you're playing. Others can not see what you're playing with this disabled. Thats just there so you can go live in Discord if you want to stream the game. Thats all that portion is for.

THANK U! will it still hide it from friends also? As long as im not in  voice with them?

Yep, it will never display to anyone, regardless of what you're doing unless you go live on a discord stream.

yep it worked. tested with a vm and 2nd account HAHA.THANK U.
