What is the best place/website to buy custom pc's

Maybe go for maingear or origin, those have some pretty good build quality

Though make sure you are using a cheap nvme ssd and a cheap case aka hetting rid of uneccesary sht cause better use that money to upgrade the useful stuff like cpu, gpu, or mobo, etc

and a cheap case

How about no?

I would argue that case upgrade off the integrator side is a better distribution thanks to a lot of airflow case being only a 20$ extra in most integrators. The 3 things you should save on imho is to provide your own storage solution, RAM, and Cooler. PSU can be added to the list, but thats such a cliche i think its a given.

For particular brand of SI, Origin is the best experience but their value is a mess so unless if you want to spend $3000 not only on performance but also peace of mind, dont. ABS Systems off Newegg is a good integrator but youre stuck with their listed PCs and their PSU pick is a timebomb. iBuyPower and CyberPowerPC is the 2 more known for customs, but iBP customer service is more like talking to a serial killer and CyberPowerPC builders are very half assed in their work.

But the 2 avoids ill always have in mind is Redux and DigitalStorm. DigitalStorm will charge you a whole head and torso for what essentially an overbuilt system thatll gone obsolete in 5 years, and they have been known to always gone off target in shipping their system to the customer. Redux is the sister company of DigitalStorm so same PSA applies.

Its usually above 100 or 150$ when spending on a case becomes basically useless since its just adding stupid rgb + paying for the brand

Cases that are 80 or 100$ have alot of advantages over a 50$ case but a 200$ case is just an overpriced peice of metal that a 150 or even a 100$ case can match

Wasn't redux's selling point that they basically sell you all the hardware at MSRP + $75 build fee with no additional markup?

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Yeah i should add the Redux's downside is the same as DS's but without the cost issue. But still, very sketchy to never clarify about backorders to customers until they finally get a headache because their system havent arrived a month later.

Odd place, because i know in ibp and cyberpower you can get BeQuiet 500DX at about 50$-70$ extra or so which i would say a good idea for those who dont wanna have the headache of basically moving their entire PC to a whole new enclosure.

-> Moved to Laptops and Pre-Built Systems

***

Depending on your region, you might have local PC hardware store offering their configs and buiding help. That might be better as you can choose some or all of the parts while still having full system warranty.
