Which CPU's are actually worth water cooling for ?

None. Custom water cooling is never "worth it". It's something you do as a hobby when you have too much money, and not enough sense.

Depends if you have a custom loop or a all in one loop.

custom is only if you have alot of time and money :)

It is alot easier rather than the water loop and having to worry about maintaining every so often as well.

aios are safe. safer then custom water cooling and some can cool better then cpu heat sinks and some times need it to get cooling in  a case that cant have a big cpu cooler like the d15... and the lian li 011.

 

custom water cooling lets you well expend on an aio. thicker rads, better pumps, posably fatter tubes thow that dont matter much. but way more cost and risk and matnence.
