Windows 10 Installation Not Working

so im helping out a friend build a pc and hes having trouble booting into windows. his bios is up-to-date, his media creation tool also and everything else is working. he has changed the boot order, usb first then ssd. it just boots him into the bios. these are his specs:

Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 32GB 3600mHz

GPU: GIGABYTE RX 6700 XT Gaming OC

Can he select a boot device once in the BIOS? Is the drive showing up?

yes, it is showing up. he already made it first priority for booting. still does not work.

Are you able to select and boot the drive from within the BIOS menu though?

we have tried booting and select from the BIOS like you said. but its still not booting into Windows, only the BIOS.

problem solved, the media creation tool didnt work on his linux machine but worked on his old windows 10 machine
