Is my PSU enough?

So I'm trying to get a new graphics card and the GTX 1070 is one of my options (EVGA SSC) but I'm unsure if my 450w psu is cutting it too close

 

Specs:

R3 3200g

Gigabyte b540m ds3h

16gb TForce RAM 3200mhz

500gb WD SSD

Montech X1 case with 4 fans 

 

My psu is the Corsair CX450

 

Is it fine if I run a 1070 off of my psu or should I not

You need a 500 watt or greater psu to run that gpu.

I'm aware of that, it's just that I've heard that it is possible to run 450w with lower end cpus as long as it is a decent psu which idk if it is

Yes it is, people still try to force blanket rulings for components that are separate fron the GPU.

 

If you know basic math and read reviews, it is easy to calculate consumption and what you really need.

It is very fine.
