Adding a second NVMe SSD

Hi guys, i curretlly have a x570 strix e gaming with installed one nvme ssd. i just bought a new as i need more storage space, do i need to do anything particular or can i just plug that in and would all work? thank you

Just plug it in.

You need to format it afterwards.

You just plug it in and then boot up. Once windows is up and running open "Disk Management" and format your new drive and create a partition (or more than one partition, your choice boss)
