Pc wont connect to laptob as a second monitor cause of a bug

ok so i really dont know whats up, when i click my laptob name inthe project window, my pc screen goes black for like 1 second, then it freezes

and after around 10 seconds of freezing it goes back to normal and it says disconnected 

ive never had this issue before, it used to work fine, ive tried everything idk why it wont work

does your computer have a make or model..... does it have an operating system..... the program youre using have a name?

sorry about that, 

 

using an alienware X51 R2

windows 10

and the program is the official project window in windows u get when hitting windows+p

Are you trying to connect desktop to laptop monitor? Or what? There's no direct way to connect laptop monitor to PC as second monitor. You will need either special equipment or software to get that going.
