Stuck pixels in programs only

Hello,

I recently had this issue where I get some pixels stuck on certain programs (Epic Games Launcher and VS Code are the only ones so far). They aren't like permanently stuck, they go away when I hover my cursor over them or the banner updates but they keep coming back. I'm pretty sure this is a software issue. Can anyone help me?

 

System Info:

Windows 10 Pro x64

Asus VivoBook 15 X542UF

 

Recent changes I did to my laptop:

-Upgraded my storage to a sata m.2 SSD

-Made the SSD the boot drive and kept the existing HDD as storage
