Never get worked up over Hype. All the stuff you see is what the PR teams of the company want you to see, which is the absolute best to drum up the interest and build the community hype into a frenzy wanting the product before real reviews expose its weaknesses and flaws. Best to wait until the products actually launch and give reviewers time to test and validate the "claims" being made which are almost always universally false in some way.

I would not be hyped.

The rtx 3000 and RX 6000 were pretty bad. no stock and very high power usage and VRAM temps among 3090s.

Also the new Ryzen cpu werent and really arent at MSRP and there was a huge stock shortage over them-

Also the Intel cpus are just generally pretty bad.

I hope that things get better but i would not be hyped.

Hype for products being available is more worthwhile than hype for a new product launch.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Idk man they’re fairly impressive to showcase how far things have gone in a very short period of time.

i mean they had to, since Ryzen was better than they expected.

but low cost and interesting extra features,

that only really applies to 10100f and 10400f, sicne 10th,11th gen i7 and i9s are a joke really.

But the looks are sick tho

99% of people say it looks good. to me it does not. it looks like AMD stock sooler on the right and plastic on the left. also that splitter is very ugly. So im not happy to say that im the 1% of the people that do not like to look. I would be happier if i liked but somewhy i do not 😞

Not everything always lives up to the hype. Yes, maybe there is hype now for the new AMD socket and DDR5 RAM, but it's surely going to be much more expensive. Maybe you could wait for something like the newest X570S boards if you want to be a bit future proof. Other than that, what you can get today is pretty good already. I'd just wait until you can get everything at MSRP or close to it. The market is getting better slowly.

Tl:Dr DO NOT WAIT FOR NEXT GEN!

Man so in the new year of 2019 I was not happy with the performance of my i5 6600k and rx480 8gb rig anymore. The 6600k was simply not viable any longer and was seriously bottlenecking my rx480. So I decided to get a whole new system with the latest kit. A r5 3600x, a baller x570 mobo with the right ram the works eh. Really respectable stuff for 2019. I was going to buy a rx 5700xt or a gtx 2060ti. But everyone was supper excited for the next generation. That amd 6000 and navida 3000 are going to be huge, the next gtx 10xx. So I held off on buying a GPU in 2019. My thinking is was it would not hurt to run my budget 480 for Another year. Huge MASIVE mistake. I'm still stuck with that  Oboma era 480. All that money I spent on a nice cpu&mobo was wasted on me waiting for the next gen then the next gen not having supply. I never got to experience running my 3600x when it was a top 10 gaming performance CPU because it was driving a historic 480. Big sad.
