I built my computer a couple months ago, and for the first month or so it was running really well. No issues at all. However, for the last few weeks, it's been randomly restarting or shutting down without warning. It happens at random times, so it'll sometimes happen while I'm gaming and sometimes happen when I am just watching YouTube. For the most part, it restarts while flashing a quick BSOD for a second before it restarts. I tried updating my drivers, installing an antivirus, and installing Restoro but none of that has made the issue go away. It usually happens 2 or 3 times a day. If anyone would be able to help me figure out what's going on and how to fix it, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

I have Windows up to date.

I guess I was too worried about the other PC parts that I didn't think about whether or not the cooler would be good enough. I'll try checking the temperatures and seeing if it's normal. Is there a certain cooler you'd recommend?

Windows =/= BIOS

There where multiple problems with B550/X570 Bioses and USB ports thats why I would start there.

As for coolers depends on what you want and can fit in your case:

But some from Noctua like: Noctua NH-D15

be quiet! Dark Rock 4 Pro

or AIO recommended by tech Jesus himself (Steve from GN): Arctic Liquid Freezer II

Oh. My bad. I still have a lot of lingo to learn clearly. I'll try updating the BIOS, and if that doesn't work, I'll look into the coolers you mentioned. Thank you for your help!

Well then before you start make sure the BIOS you download form offcial MSI website is for your motherboard and not BETA and for MSI they are picky on the file location so just put .bin/bios file in the root of the USB stick.

Well, I downloaded the most recent bios without getting the BETA one, but my computer just rebooted again. I even checked the temperatures and they seem to be normal. It's been ranging between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius.
