Minecraft: Low(?) FPS with Shaders on an RTX 3060 Ti

PC specs are: Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB DDR4-3200, and RTX 3060 Ti. The game runs just fine without shaders and I can get somewhere around 150-200 fps. With shaders like BSL and SEUS Renewed and I average around 40-60 fps. Does that number seem low or is it performing as it should? Render distance is set to 8 chunks, and FOV is set to 100.

Minecraft version 1.17.1, I have OptiFine installed. The game is running at 1920x1080. Latest NVIDIA driver installed, latest BIOS update installed.

I've included screenshots with multiple shaders: SEUS Renewed, BSL, Continuum, and Sildur's Vibrant (Medium).
