So can someone explain why going thru the configurator is more expensive?   than buying replacement cables. its probably a dumb question. I assume its because of the chance to choose the length of the cables.

Ya its because you are asking for a one off set that isnt preproduced as opposed to ordering a set they can just pull off the rack and ship

sorry to hijack but where can you get custom order cable mods? specifically looking for a custom color scheme.

They have a configurator on their website that lets you chose everything.
