is it just me or is every good motherboard red or yellow/orange now a days seriously someone needs to make an enthusiast board that is all black so i can pick my own theme colors. I'm seriously this launch away from going to e series just because the boards are black and look better. If ivy bridge e launch with the 4930k for 300 I will switch to a big bang for sure. any1 else agree or feel this way. Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with red or yellow its just the fact that its constantly forced down our throats be original or at least only make things that can be changed that color like the asus rog boards red on the heat sinks no problem ill water-cool them but no they have to make every pci slot that color all the sata ports and ram slots ect and there's only so much you can do with a sharpie lol.

what about the z77 sabertooth it doesnt have much colour on it and there are cover's for the pci slots?

Been running my Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 for quite some time now, had no problems with it what so ever. I chose it over the other bunch of X79 cards exactly because it was all black and I'm very happy with it. :)

I mean yellow or orange asrock extreme 9 or extreme 11 yellow rog boards red fatailty red - gigabyte oc forumala orange

To the sabertooth guy yes that's true and the board I have currently in my shadow build but even with the dust cover there's green accents the southbridge the sata ports ect and that isn't hidable so it sucks. Also I should have been more spefic when I said good board I meant extreme board and what I mean by that is at the very least tri sli if not quad sli. As I said I have a sabertooth but eventually I'm going to add cards I would like to eventualy have 4 670s with 2 loops that's not possible with savertooth it csn only run 2 cards.

And too the guy that said yellow orangw not sure if you agree you have never sen a yellow or orange board.

Of you mean all aren't that color that was my bad for not being specific I want quad sli I dare any1 to list 2 boards that are z77 that support quad sli (green doesn't count thays included with yellow as the green boards look yellow lol) but lets say blue or all black or grey and black there's not one outdide of x79 and looking at the z87 leaks that will be the same.

Also I did find a store that sells pci dust covers and if the covered the whole slot that would be wonderful and a sharpie could handle the rest but alas they don't

I agree or even mutiple colors of the same board an all black a a red and black ect it should be up to use to choose are color scheme not them if you want to keep a solid colors scheme or your choosing your limited to using a board you probaly don't want dint get ne wrong I love my sabertooth and will use it u n a miltary build when I replace it but its do one way and I would realy like a rog board but alas there red u hate red Nd it wouldn't lok good with all my blue periphals.

they did it in the 750i days though and the rest of the board didn't even macth so it realy pointless now the boards macth but tnot the pcb how stipid is that
