I've found an old windows xp laptop, and some old games on it. I wanted to connect an external monitor which i used together with this laptop 10 years ago. Last time i can remember using both togehter everything worked well, but now when i connected the screen, the only thing it does is expands the desktop. I can't find the screen mirror option on windows xp.

That would typically be in a control panel installed with the graphics driver or an additional tab in display settings, possibly needing to click "advanced" there.

I don't know if i just don't see it, but there is no graphics control panel, or anything about display settings. The only thing i can change is color settings and resolution. And if i uncheck the screen expand box the external screen won't display anything and tell to chechk the connection.
