Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): This is a business PC for a industrial shop that has high amounts of nylon dust from sls 3d printing. We have had several power supplies die due to this. Need help finding a solution. We need a dust proof/resistant solution.

This will do the trick. Of course regular cleaning is needed probably once a month.

Basically, you need the system to be passively cooled for industrial applications. There's CPU heatsinks designed specifically for this purpose (i.e. fanless). The trouble, as you mentioned, is the PSU, since it comes with a fan built in. One way around that is way overbuying on the wattage. The less of the total load you're putting on it, the less the chance that the fans are going to kick off.

 

It's still probably better and easier to go with a thin client approach, or you can use fiber optic thunderbolt cables to wire up a display, mouse, and keyboard to a PC in another room.

Buy a passive psu

Or as mentioned overbuy on wattage

Though if that dust is that deadly then tape or jam the fan so it cant spin
