Installing windows from previous install USB

Hi there 

 

I have been asking many questions yes  

 

I have installed windows to my band new gaming pc but as I did not have another pc to downlaod windows 10 to a USB used a USB I had that already had windows downloaded onto it and i had used that same windows downlaod to install windows to another pc so as I did not have another pc I used that same USB I had already used to install windows with the same windows files on it and everything 

 

would that mess any of the windows files up? Or would it just be normal as if I just downloaded it

So you used the same Windows USB to install two copies of Windows if I'm reading that right?

There is nothing changed on the USB from installing to a machine so they are the same on both machines. The only thing is you'll need to download more updates compared to if you downloaded the latest Media Creation Tool from Microsoft directly but that's it.

So nothing will be different than if I just went and got windows from a fresh media creation tool? Just more updates? If I used the same USB for 2 installs with same files?

Correct, nothing is written to the USB for installation, only from the USB to the target drive.
