Intel i5 11400 Build Issues

Go to solution Solved by chicagocuber,

Finally, after almost 4 hours I got it working. I needed to use another microsoft account that had a key of Windows, as well as update BIOS, all the drivers, and Windows updates in one go.

Hey all,
I recently built a system with the following specs:

i5 11400

Intel UHD Graphics 730

Asrock h570m-itx/ac

TeamForce Vulcan Z DDR4-3600 CL16

Crucial P2 500 GB

Corsair CXF 650 W 80+ Bronze Power Supply

Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition

Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB Hard Drive

So, my issues are with Windows. Linux works just fine, but isn't really great for my use case. When I boot up the system without Windows, goes to BIOS every time. When I install Windows, sometimes the PC just turns on and doesn't do anything, or it boots into Windows but still has some major issues. Some of these issues include: Programs failing to run, WiFi not showing up or not receiving any data, Occasional BSOD that happens when I try to download things (haven't seen the code yet, but I think it's Driver power failure or something of that sort. I have rolled back drivers, and installed new ones) if I am able to get a program running, sometimes it just quits without warning. I have reinstalled Windows multiple times, as well as reseated both memory and the CPU.

Any help to try and fix this will be appreciated.
Thanks.

If it works fine with linux it is probably a software error.

Try to disable secure boot, enable windows updates and immediately update all drivers etc.

You can run crystaldiskinfo to test your HDD or SSD's life

Also are you using GPT or MBR, and 64-bit or 32-bit Windows

Please tag me @RTX 3090 so I can see your reply

I do have a 3.5" HDD as well as another system (the one I'm using right now) that has a hard drive as well as an m.2. Should I put the ssd into this computer or swap the one in this computer with the one that isn't working?

I'll try these soon, I'll get back to you when I do. I use 64-bit Windows and I'm not sure about my disk formatting.

Well if your trying to install Windows on the hdd and doesn't work so great try going in the BIOS and installing it on the m.2 drive
