Windows 10 resolution letterboxing

TazerXI

My friend uses an LG 29wn-600, and has his screen resolution set to 2560x1080 (the resolution of the monitor), but it has letter boxing. So at the top and bottom, the screen is black. When he runs the screen at 1920x1080, it has no boxing, but the screen stretches, and when it has the resolution set to original instead of streatched, it has pillar boxing, as expected. Tried updating the graphics drivers, but no luck. The GPU is a geforce gtx 650 from gigabyte (He had a mac, but had an *old* PC which had this gpu in so we used it in these times. He justs runs minecraft so it works)
