tv hdd

Go to solution Solved by GuiltySpark_,

Looks like they currently offer a box that does the recording (their "Whole Home PVR") then basic receivers. The PVR box does recording on its own so you'll want to find out if he already has that?

Looks like on the 9241, 9242, 9400 or 9500 PVR models you can indeed expand storage with a USB hard drive, though there are some specific requirements for the drive.

I know you may not realize it, but only giving us "satellite tv" as the device you're looking to hook this drive up to doesn't help us one bit.

I'm going to extrapolate from the little information you did give us and assume this is some type of set-top-box? Who makes it? Model number? Who is the service provider?

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro
