ive recently got a 5950x and a asus crosshair hero 8 motherboard. i was able to squeeze 4.4 Ghz locked across all cores however if i leave it on PBO Auto it can boost closer to 5Ghz on some cores. my main problem is that using that most cores actually sit in the 3Ghz range...

Is their a way to set a minimum or base frequency of 4.4Ghz and then allow some cores to boost to higher clock speeds on its own. so i can get the best of both worlds?

Heres a CPU-Z reports so you could see my full specs: https://valid.x86.fr/gbidht
