You'll need to purchase a PCIe or USB wifi adapter before you can connect to wifi. Your motherboard does not have built in wifi.

wait just curious though, how come i cant connect to my house wifi, is that why i need the adaptors? Is it to connect to my house wifi, or is that a whole new wifi thing, I know im stupid. @rickeo

Your computer as you built it has no WiFi capability. Wifi isn't something you get automatically with a desktop PC like it is with laptops, you either buy a motherboard with it built in or you buy a standalone adapter.

If you want to connect to wifi (no matter at home or somewhere else) you need something to pick up your routers wireless signal. So because your motherboard doesn't come with built in wifi you need to add it. Via usb adapter or PCIe. If you go with the PCIe route you can find some videos on installing it on youtube....its pretty easy!

If you go with PCIe I recommend this https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/99446/intel-wireless-ac-9560.html

 and these antennas https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XNBN7TT/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B08XNBN7TT&pd_rd_w=kUwZp&pf_rd_p=9637a9f6-047e-454c-a51a-e292699471e6&pd_rd_wg=GNG1h&pf_rd_r=9W1DMCTM68XCFTQANDDC&pd_rd_r=b264efee-1b83-4feb-9957-4186ab08c3bd&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzVVIzNDJFR0ZDTjEwJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDEwOTkzMkw0RTlVN0VMTUQ2OCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMjUzOTg4M0M1N1dNNUdBWU4wMiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2RldGFpbCZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

It should also probably be mentioned that you have the opportunity now to use a wired Ethernet connection which is far and away the preferred method. Much faster and significantly more stable.

Well, you run a CAT5/6 cable from your router to the motherboard.

oh, i would do that but i would need some beefy cable, and it would make things look bad, im assuming there is no way to hook it up wireless right.

lol, not without getting a wifi adapter. Lots of people getting into desktop PC's for the first time really want wifi and think its fine, when you're in it for a while you realize how garbage it is and will never settle for anything less than a hardwired connection.

Just get a PCIe wifi adapter like what @Gj22linked.

Oh I can speak as a video editor and Developer who spends wayyyy to much time in front of a computer that you tend to notice it when you are infront of a computer for like 6+ hours a day.

For now If you can't get ethernet (which is not the end of the world) just get the products I linked or a USB wifi Adapter. This will get you up and running!

By the way the antennas, are they required, is it a big difference?

Most if not all adapters come with antennas and unless you want the range to be a few feet, yes they are required.
