Hi everyone, I need to buy a Thermomether to monitor my case intake/outtake air temperature and things since I'm changing case.

I wonder if you know what is the name of Linu's thermomether he use in his benchmark videos (I've seen some but I haven't heard him talking about the brand or something)

or even what type is called the one with the little wire at the end. on online website if I search for "probe" it only shows up cooking thermomether or acquarium ones :(

maybe you can help me out. do you know any good brands and the price level I should be looking for?

(I hope this is the right place for this topic)

@Trentonxx

Not sure on what type of thermometer he has. But when you buy fan controllers and stuff they come with thermometer probes.

I think it's like something like this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Digital-Thermometer-2-K-Type-Temperature-Probe/555715699.html

Maybe search for "industrial temperature probe" for a better result.

I don't have a fan controller at the moment, but I think that thermomether is the type i'm looking for. but it's too expensive for me! :o

I found a "similiar"(?) model for cheaper. I don't know if it's a fake one or something. I think they are called "Probe type K" thermomether. I'll do a research

Yeah looks good. i'm not sure on the accuracy of the cheaper ones vs the more expensive ones.

I think you'll find the more expensive ones will work when temperatures are closer to absolute zero etc and might have a 3 decimal place temp for better accuracy.

But the cheaper ones should give out a pretty accurate temp reading. I mean, it's only a temp probe right?

oh lol I'm stupid, the price is for a bulk buy of 12 thermomethers sorry

uhm yes, I can bear an error of 1-2°C I'm not doing anything extreme, probably only between 10°-90°

I'll check thos "Probe K" type thermomether in the meanwhile thanks :)
