Overclocking CPU and got blank screen

Go to solution Solved by vong,

Wait, don't worry. Just got it working and went back to stock clock. Looks like I lost the lottery. Stock speed needs 1.08v and 4ghz wants close to 1.4v.

So I've had another go at ocing my CPU again and not it seems like I've gone too far. Nothing comes up after reboot so I can't go into BIOS. MTB is MSI GD65 and CPU is 4670k.

Can I ask... How far did you go?

Tried 4.4ghz at 1.38v

Reset the CMOS.

Tried the reset button on the mtb a couple times with no success then left it off for a couple minutes and it came just on, nearly froze though.

its definitely the voltage.

Sure was.
