COM Surrogate taking up memory

So every once in awhile, this process called COM Surrogate will eat up my entire memory and crash my system. Anyone got a way to solve this other than doing a Windows 7 reinstallation?

maybe its a virus or a program not windows maybe scan? (not to good on names of apps)
