Exact partitions to clone - help?

I am wondering exactly which of these partitions to clone to my new NVMe drive? This is an MSI laptop so some of them may be MSI's recovery partitions? I would like to slim partitions while keeping necessary windows ones.

 

Also, I read online that the 16mb partition already on the new drive is a new version of the Microsoft Reserved Partition, which my Disk 1 also has at 128 mb. Do I still need to clone that 128mb partition? Thanks!

You could just install windows fresh on the SSD and not have any extra baggage on the speedy new NVME

moving a windows installation can be done but generally not recommended. I would start a fresh copy of windows (after backing up files) and then copying the files over to the new installation.

Thank you both! As you can tell, I'm not savvy with windows installs - is the best way to go about that just making a usb drive with a windows install? Is there another way if I don't have a big enough flash drive?

you only need an 8gb flash drive, which you should be able to buy cheap as hell, if you don't have one.

yep. just search install windows 10 and the microsoft website will tell you to download the tool which will do everything for you. just plug in a >8gb usb drive and just follow the steps.
