I have the MacBook Pro 15 inch i7 rx 560 4gb 1tb ssd

so I’m trying to find a good external battery for it. That supplies 87 watts or whatever is recommended i’m going to a country that doesn’t have consistent power so I want to be able to charge the MacBook at least once or more Off an external battery bank everything I find has no more than 45 W which would work for like a MacBook Air but not the MacBook I have any recommendations?

I think some Anker batteries can do 45W-(60W) USB-C PD. But I don't think there are any 87W, because I've looked for them myself. You'd need a massive battery for that, more than you can take on a plane.

You're out of luck, unfortunately. I don't think there's any good solution for what you're looking for.

  1. Your laptop has a 86Wh battery.
  2. A 100Wh battery is the most you can take on a plane. (even if you're not going on a plane, you'll have a hell of a time finding a larger battery bank since there's next to no market for them).
  3. A battery bank would lose something crazy like 50% of its power in the conversion process from 3.7V to 15-19V for your laptop.
  4. Therefore, a 100Wh battery bank would charge your laptop to about 60% before it dies.
