Game lag when using OBS

My game's frames drops when OBS is open not even recording by the way i have a laptop with an integrated graphics, in task manager it says the game is using the dedicated graphics and OBS is using integrated graphics so why is the game that is running on dedicated graphics laggy

So do you have a GPU or and iGPU.  If you have an iGPU , lower the recording resolution otherwise it will lag, and theres no solution.

I have a laptop with both iGPU and GPU the GPU is RTX 3060 Laptop and the iGPU is intel UHD Graphics

So set the gpu to the 3060 in graphics settings in windows 10 settings for the OBS studio

I did that but the game is using the iGPU, so I set obs to use the iGPU but the game still uses the iGPU I want the game to use the GPU once i close OBS it uses the GPU tho

I will just use nvidia's build in capture its ok i have like 1 viewer
