Hi everonye! Just put my build together, everything works fine except that my case is charged.

Now, I know it's NOT a static shock, I can really feel a current. I'm using a GROUNDED wire, so that's not the problem either (I've tried another wire, didn't help.)

My PSU is a Seasonic 1000W Platinum, installed in a Phanteks Enthoo Primo.

What can I do to solve this?

Please note, with the Enthoo Primo the standoff screws come pre-attached, so I know they're inserted. I read that it might be because of the I/O shield, and that I have to remove the mobo and reinstall it. I have 2 MSI R9 290's in it, and cable management done, so I rather keep this as a final option.

All advice is appreciated.

Just realized how stupid I am. I tried another cable, but not another socket in the wall. Apparently the socket I was using is somehow faulty?! Tried another one and now I can't feel any electricity on the case.

Definitely have that socket checked, it can cause huge problems (even fires sometimes).

Well, I investigated it a bit. Maybe I should explain my setup. I use one of these things, but with 10 slots (I don't know the correct term for it)

Mine's earthed (it has that metal pin), but for some reason it's not earthing properly. I'll probably end up throwing it away, and buying a new one. It was a cheap-ish one anyway, not risking a fire for €30.

I work on a few computers at different places and it is amazing how many homes have wiring issues. I use a tester for power outlets. 20 bucks from a hardware store, plug the plug size tester in a socket- wall or power bar and depending on the diagnostic LEDs, one can see if no ground or improperly wired
