Hey, I'm on this forum since I recently bought an SSD and installed an older build of Windows 10 on it (1709) and since then my hard drive (D drive) isn't showing up in file explorer or disk management, I was wondering if this is because it still has a bootable version of windows and if so if there is a way for me to fix it and use my d drive while still booting from my ssd

Was your new drive an M.2 SSD? If so, which slot in the motherboard did you install it in? Some M.2 slots disable some of the SATA ports. Try moving the D drive to a different SATA port or moving the M.2 SSD to the top M.2 slot (closest to the CPU is usually connected directly to the CPU not the chipset, but double check with your motherboard manual).

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450
