windows wont upgrade!!!????

so i have a laptop that has windows 8.1 and i want to upgrade it, i did alll the steps but when its supposed to restart it just doesn't do anything, it doesnt want to turn on which is tempting me to just unplug it and repower it

 

 

what do i do?????

Just restart the update or restart the computer.

HARD SHUTDOWN if necessary ; but no unplugging
