hi guys,

last night I was looking on marketplace to find a graphics card at a decent price. I have a fairly low budget, but I found a used msi 1070, in good condition, for 300 euros, which is about 350 dollars. should i buy it, even if it is almost 5 years old?

(update)

i woke up this morning, and i found a dude on marketplace selling a 1660 super for 240 euros. he said he bought it grom amazon warehouse but that it wasn't refurbished

What would you guys suggest?

Ps: the 1070 cooler is a blower

1660 Super, easily. Theyre both about the same performance wise but considering how that 1660S has a better cooler and cheaper price, its automatically better imho.

thats a good argument. now i know this might sound crazy but the 1070 has 8gb of vram and maybe those 2 extra gb of vram could make a difference i dont know. plus i think it should have good temps even if its a blower right? i never tried blower cards

Google "R9 290 Blower Sound", and lower the audio sound about 2 decibels. Thats nvidia blower experience in my opinion.

Yeah, hyperbole. But in hot place like Indonesia, blowers are massive no go unless if you love the sound of fans at 100%.
