  • would it be a bad idea to install windows 11 insider on my main pc and daily drive it or should i wait ive tried it on a diffrent pc and love it

If you don't know what you're doing then I wouldn't recommend running an Insider build on your main system. Put it on a second system, or run it in a VM.

i know i might run into stability issues and i do know what im doing what could be some issues that could be caused by running a insider build besides a few bugs

Microsoft recommends to have a good backup solution. And also recommends to not use your daily driver.

That said:

  • Expect a system re-install at any time.
  • Expect BSODs
  • Expect data loss
  • Expect data corruption
  • Expect some hardware or peripheral issues

Found a bug? have a suggestion? Facing a problem? Use the Feedback Hub and take your time to post a detail entry.

I recommend to have backup solution at least once a day.

 

Insider program is only recommended for people with a good knowledge of Windows OS, and has the expertise to fix problem, and be able to live with them for a while.
