I attached my component build list from PC part picker The only difference is I would be running dual RTX 3080s and one GTX1650 the idea is for me and my brother to be able to edit useing Adobe creative, da Vinci resolve, hit film, blinder, solidworks cad and my 3D printing and C&C software on the same rig somewhat simultaneously in different parts of the house what vm software would you recommend I was thinking unraid and I was also wondering if there were any tutorials on configuring it i was wanting to transmit the audio video and USB signals via CAT6 to get to different places in the house is there a device that can do this through one cable? So I could just plug the converter box into a Wall port in the room I want to use it in.

Why not get 2 pcs? Should be simmilar in price and faster. I don't see the point of one big pc. Its normally just more of a hassle.

Do you need vms? You can use multiseat software like aster to allow multiple users to use one pc at one time without vms. Then you can share graphics cards too.

I wasn’t aware of multiseat software do they Make versions that can run Linux  is well as windows what that software can do is essentially what I’m trying to do and the reason I want to do one big PC versus two or 3 small pc’s is because I may want The full amount of processing and compute power from the unit all for one userlike when I am editing 8k raw or doing airflow simulations but would also like to be able to split it between users like when doing light gaming and editing 4K or doing 3D modeling

Yea there is multiseat software for linux + windows.

Id still suggest multiple pcs. Your saving your self a lot of hassle and setup time. And going down a tier to a 5900x is still plenty fast for those uses, and faster in some use cases as thread ripper isn't the best due to slower single core speeds.
