Hi, my name is Henry and I've been having problems on discord that discord has not been able to solve yet and it's been like more than 2 weeks for sure. My mic keeps on stuttering ONLY ON DISCORD. NO driver problems, discord made me do shit to my drivers like I don't fucking know how many times. I need to solve this problem like I can't speak to my friends or do anything anymore to be honest. This problem happens on both website and client.

ONLY ON DISCORD.

Welcome to trademark Discord's potato server. Try to switch to a higher latency servers, so somewhere just a notch farther than where you are. Thats the easiest fix, alongside turning off all audio enhancement including Krisp's horrid noise cancellation.

Discord email:

Hey hchilazi2,

I'm so sorry to hear that you've encountered such issues while using our app. Can you try restarting your device and then going into User Settings > Voice & Video > Reset voice settings? If that doesn't work, could you try setting your input and output to the specific device in both your system and Discord settings?

Also, to help me isolate the issue, does this happen in all servers and direct calls, or just one channel or server? And does this issue also happen in both the browser and desktop client? Additionally, could you let me know if were you prompted with our bright orange warning bar stating that your mic wasn't working? And have you tried a Mic Test in your User Settings > Voice & Video?

If all else fails, could you also let me know what input and output devices, OS and OS version you're using, and which clients this issue is occurring on (browser, mobile and/or desktop)? Additionally, could you send me screenshots of all your current voice settings and I'll be able to assist you further!

Cheers,
Julius

I've tried everything I can not only in this email but other ones they've sent after this non of it worked, and btw this is a discord only problem.

I'm not trying to be rude, but if you're not going to bother helping and just tell me to change platforms fucking leave this post asap.

Nothing some good old swearing and yelling won't fix.

I say try that, swear and yell into your mic. 😆

try changing the audio subsystem to standard.

try changing from automatic sensitivity to manual and adjust accordingly.

try disabling hardware acceleration.

try only 1 thing at a time to figure out exactly which one is the issue.

also, when you say the voice is stuttering, what exactly do you mean by that? can we get a recording of what is happening?
