running low on ram

i have 8gb of ram and when gaming windows says running low on ram do anyone know how to fix this

you can just ignore windows, it's probably a warning or something that shows up because of your theme right?, is it an actual error or just some pointless message that pops up that you can remove without any consequences? 8GB should be plenty, could always look in task manager and see how much ram is avaliable and how much you are actually using, see if anything is hogging an excessive ammount of memory, you can probably just ignore windows.

i have had similar errors recently using chrome with dayz standalone open. Where one had to be closed. so i upgraded to 16GB

I would say you're actually running out of RAM. Which is weird, since I only have 2GB (with another 2GB for swap) and I probably push my poor computer farther than most people. And I don't entirely run out (RAM yes, swap no).

You can always download more if you want, but please... please dont.  The VIRUSEZ!  Try turn down the game settings or close the stuff before you play the game.

If you are using Chrome, there's the problem. That thing hogs ram. Or you can check if virtual ram is enough.
