preorder or wait?

is it worth it to preorder a graphics card (the RX 5500 XT: https://www.shopblt.com/item/gigabyte-gv-r55xtgaming-oc-8gd-radeon-rx-5500xt-gaming/gigmbd_gvr55xtgamingoc8gd.html) or wait for it to come back in stock (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/msi-amd-radeon-rx-5500-xt-8gb-gddr6-pci-express-4-0-graphics-card-black-gray/6397797.p?skuId=6397797)? If i preorder it, there is no guarantee when it will come in but the card I want may not come back in stock for a while.

I would recommend waiting for it to come back into stock, just so that you aren't committing yourself to this specific card in the future (as newer/better cards could get released in the meantime).

 

Use an old GPU that you may have lying around or the integrated graphics while you wait.
