My sons PC is taking a very long time to boot into windows off his Nvme ssd which of course use to take about 5-10 seconds to load windows. It takes 15 seconds to load to the Motherboard logo and then another 1:09 to boot to windows.

I honestly don't even know where to start as he only plays the Big titles for kids such as roblox, minecraft, fortnite, ect.

The Build,

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor

MB - MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard

RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

HD - Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

GPU - MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GAMING Z Video Card

Case - NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case

PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA GA 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

And a couple of extra small storage SSDs for Picture and video.

I would start by a windows scan of the file system.

Open CMD and type SFC /scannow

Also make sure windows is fully up to date.

PSU Tier List   AMD Mobo Tier List   SSD Tier List
