Hey guys, I'm experiencing some bad screen tearing / stutters when playing Apex Legends. I'm getting consistently high fps in game with ultra settings, but gameplay isn't as fluid as I'd like because of the screen tearing. I had issues running this game with my monitor on my old set up, (i5 6600k @ 4.2TGHz + GTX 1070), which were major stutters because of 100% CPU usage and > 95% GPU usage. With my current set up, I'm getting < 40% CPU usage and >= 95% GPU usage. I know my monitor isn't listed as a GSYNC compatible monitor, but nvidia settings allows me to enable gsync. I get screen backlight flickering, which isn't really an issue for me, but what is an issue is the screen tearing and slight stutters.

Does anyone know what I could do to try and mitigate the tearing? I just want a smoother game play, thanks in advance.

Maybe try removing drivers w6ith DDU and reinstall them

I'll try that, but wouldn't the drivers affect all games? Warzone runs fine for me.

Yeah, anomalies are not too predictable. DDU does not take much time, and then one thing less to be tested to be faulty.
