i7 5960x, asus v rampage, 32gb ram, 5 year old build

My cpu is running hot, at first I thought it was a problem with my aio liquid cooler h100i, so I took it off and examined it, loop is filled, fans work, pump works according to corsair link app. My cpu runs at 60C idle and 70-80C under load non-overclocked. These temps also don't see right to begin with since I've read other people having 30C at idle and 50C under load.  I reinstalled the aio and applied new thermal paste, the temps are still the same. So my only other thoughts is that either my cpu is starting to die from 5 years worth of 60-70C stress. I boot my computer and after about 20 mins my pc will auto reboot from overheat. I took at look my my pc temps and also started noticing my motherboard is reporting temps of over 100C on some areas. I honestly really have no idea what's going on, trying to avoid replacing mobo, cpu and aio.
