Prisma AL-14/PWM

was installing some Prisma AL-14/PWM rgb fans today one of the fans the rgb cable had a bent pin and it snapped off when trying to strangeness it out its the Individual pin on the right side of the connector pin out says its ground. fan still lights up the device daisy chained to the fan still lights up and aura sync software can still seemingly control the rgb so does this ground pin not matter?
