Monitor has no signal

thattrollerkkl

I checked that my monitor works and I updated my BIOS but my monitor still says no signal when I plug it into my pc. Is there a way to check if parts are broken?

What specs & monitor?

Does it work with other devices (like a laptop)?

Have you reseated the RAM?

Are you using a GPU?  If so, is the monitor plugged into it?  Yes, I know, but it has to be asked.

What cable are you using to connect?

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pZnrbh It works with my laptop. I've tried reseating my ram already.

Can you try clearing CMOS? When you remove the battery or jump the pins hold the power button for 10 seconds so it can fully clear.

Did you try reseating your GPU?  What CPU do you have?  If it has an integrated GPU, use that and see if your machine is running fine without the dedicated GPU for starters.

At this point, you keep mentioning RAM and I do not understand why.

What motherboard do you have? Does it have a light or number to indicate a fault, and if so, what does it say?
