Group Messanging not working (Android, T-Mobile)

So I just got my T-mobile sim working with my number and data. However anytime I want to send a group message, It sends the message to all group members individually. and when I try and go into setting to switch it, it's not there. the group messaging menu will show up for not even a second, then just disappear. Anyone have any solutions?
