Is it possible to use an old windows 10 tablet as a secondary monitor for my computer?

2DPrinter

And if so, how? It has something on it that says HDMI, but the port is about as small as a phone charger port.

Thoughts? Yes, no?

That's called micro hdmi and likely is only an output. You could try using the 'project' app on the tablet and your desktop, however the wireless connection would be visibly laggy. The app is pretty self explanatory. Hope this helps!

Install TwomonUSB and the Google base SDK to enable adb. You also need to enable dev mode on the tablet

What does this mean in simple language?

That port only is for duplicating the tablet's display onto a larger screen, not using the tablet's screen as another monitor. It is only an output, not an input. 99% of the time, HDMI ports on phones, laptops, and tablets are output only.
