Quick 900D question about removing parts.

KD.Preizler.515

Hallo guys.

A quick question reagarding removign bay cages in the 900D

I'm talking about the top 5.25 cages in the top right corner of the case (looked at from the left to the right)
I havent seen build where these are removed.

Please don't tell me that they are welded into the frame. :(

Are you talking about where the CD drive goes?

If so, it is welded to the case. That whole right side is welded.

EDIT: Just had a look again, and I think it's possible to remove it.

Don't quite me though.

Yup, those were the ones I was talking about.
Too bad you can't remove them. Thanks anyways!

With your edit in mind, I checked out some video footage of the case, and it seems it would only leave a big hole 1/4 of the motherboard tray, which isnt very effective for mounting an horizontal XL reservoir there instead.

Any thoughts?

Haha ^^ Nah. Maybe if the hole is big enough i can find some very thin black tint glass to cover the hole and then mount the reservoir on that.
Oh well, thanks for the answers :)
