Hello, I have been having a problem for a while now where I am unable to launch Warzone from Battle.net launcher on my PC. It worked in the past, but now it can't get past the launcher.

It is saying Launching, and then Playing Now, then the launcher closes, and in Task Manager, you can see it open, then about 4 seconds later, it closes, and the launcher reopens with it just saying Play.

I can't figure it out, I have looked up countless YouTube tutorials. Please let me know if there is a fix.

See if your PC meets the minimum requirements.

It looks like it does on the game.

Are you, by chance using 2 monitors with one running any kind of Youtube video or other streaming services?

I know in my case, I could launch Warzone, get its loading screen going and once loading into the menu, it would simply CTD.  As soon as I took my second monitor's fullscreen youtube video (it still ran but wasn't fullscreen), I was able to launch and play just fine for over an hour.

I mean, apart from my Ryzen 7 being a 5800x and your GPU a 2070 over my 1660ti, the setup sounds similar - and in my case, the 2nd monitor being fullscreen watching LTT(true story) was the culprit.

Just throwing it out there - could be you'll need to manually fiddle config files - if Warzone has any to launch in lower resolution / quality and hope for the best.

I found out that some "WINDOWS STYLE CHANGERS" and some other windows applications are causing the game not to run. I was using "Windows Blinds" and had to disable it every time I wanted to run the game.  You might have software that causes the game to crash like that. I know it took me time to figure it out. You might do a fresh PC install and install the game first---and it may run. Then, as you start to install other applications on your PC, you then notice the crash of your game. I'd look deeper into the applications on your computer and start the process of elimination.

I guess I will just have to reset my Windows. Thanks for trying to help.

It won't run when I'm not watching anything on my other monitor. I have tried fullscreen and in theatre mode.

Well, I have successfully done multiple streams with more than one monitor and Warzone.  This has to be related to the content of my topic. I've searched many forums.  System files that run from other applications are preventing the game from establishing priority and thus gets overrun with errors shortly after that.  I have a software tool you can try, it's called tweaking.com  It can at least show you what's running in the background.

Here is another option. Create a new windows account under your Administrator account. Like a child account. Then, try to run the game under that account with nothing else added. That means that from now on, you're installing all programs under only your account.  Somehow, we need to identify the application causing the issue.  For me it was windows blinds, for you, it could be another application. I know upon fresh install, that game will work.

I will stand-by.

This issue that you're explaining is just as obscure as mine. I have no trouble at all though in any other circumstance. I've been able to stream with multiple apps running at the same time and multiple monitors.  I am sure that it has to do with some .dll file running or something like that. I also think that in time, someone will know how to fix your same issue and post it in the forum. For now, all I would suggest is to get an app that scans all the running apps in your computer and disable them one by one. Focus on apps that change system settings.  If only I could know more about your configuration, I could help you more.
