For what games games and at what resolution?

Is it just me or is Grammar slowly becoming extinct on LTT?

I am going to be building a system soon. Maxwell just got released on laptops, which means desktop cards will definitely be here before 2015. Should I:

A) 780 ti and get another later

B) 780 and sell once maxwell comes out for 880 or whatever

Wait till Maxwell, they should come out between September - November this year.

Buttomline: We don't know ANYTHING about ANYTHING. We suspect Q3/Q4....Might be sooner, might be later. It might be a massive upgrade, it might not be.

Can your current GPU suffice until Maxwell? Depending on the card you have now, you could easily wait until Maxwell, as I am doing.

If you're rocking an old-school card or something, can't hurt getting a 780 now and a top-tier Maxwell when they're released. Heck, the 780 is a two-three year invenstment. My 680 plays BF4 on Ultra no worries still.

All the gamez at 1080p and eventually 1440p

I'll buy your 780.... if the price is right of course...

Only the 850m and 860m are Maxwell but there's also a Kepler 860m as well.

I'm waiting till maxwell personally, if that goes down the shitter AMDs pirate islands should be ready a few months later at the worse so we should have a lot of options. Since both AMD and Nvidia are being held up by TSMC (or w.e. it's called) we can expect a bigger improvement vs the current gens hopefully.

Needs more v-core
