hello.
i'm building a new desktop around ryzen 7 5800x cpu .
B550 AORUS PRO AX (rev. 1.0) mobo.
and be quiet dark pro 4 cooler.
i am not planning O.C.
and right now not gaming.
the major thing that important to me is speed performance.
so the ram will be 3200 mgh 2x16 gb.
the store that i am planning to buy from , which they will assemble it for me, offered me the  HyperX 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 1.35v - Fury Series.
from some that i read i'm not sure if this is the best choice and willing to add some money if there is other ram that will give me more speedy operation.

3600MHz is your best bet if you want the best performance possible. 4000MHz technically would be even better, but that assumes that you can overclock the FLCK to 2000MHz on your 5800X (possible but not guaranteed), and you're more likely to have compatibility issues in general with those clocks.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D · Cooler: Noctua NH-D15S Chromax.black · Motherboard: Gigabyte Auros X670 Elite AX · RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 · Graphics Card: Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Twin Edge OC 12GB · Boot Drive: 1TB XPG Gammix S70 Blade NVMe SSD · Game Drive: 2TB WD SN850X NVMe SSD · PSU: Seasonic Focus GX V3 1000W 80+ Gold · Case: Fractal Design North Mesh · Monitor: MSI Optix MAG342CQR 34” UWQHD 3440x1440 144Hz · Keyboard: EPOMAKER x Aula F99 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard · Mouse: Logitech G309 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse

You can get oloy 3600 14-14-14-34 1T 1.4v for like 150CAD.

That’s what I would get right now.

which is the max for that cpu

Highest officially supported is 3200 MHz.

my question was about brand and model.

I've used those before and they were fine, didn't have any issues, though I did switch to Corsair Vengeance RGB Pros for esthetic reasons if you are into that.

thanks.
i'm not so much into esthetic, since i will use a case without window.
trying to go for most silent pc.
just asking if other brand with same 3200 and same latency will give me better performance/reliability.
sow benchmarks and recommendations for other brands , but maybe it refer mostly to the way they overclock and not about stock out of the box performance.

If that's the case, your good with those Kingston/HP sticks.

3200 from different brands will give you more or less the same performance if you run them stock and same latencies.

can you explain ?

That ram will do just fine, no rgb, no frills. HyperX is made by Kingston, now bought by HP.

fury model ranks as a budget one.

If you're not planning to overclock it really won't matter. Kingston is good ram, whether it's their ValueRam or their HyperX. Again, since you're going to run stock speeds, going with a different brand with same speed/latency will only affect your wallet either cheaper or more expensive, outcome will be the same, day to day usage you will not notice any difference.

the store offered me g.skill 3600 mgh cl 18 which are more expansive.
32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600Mhz - CL18 - 1.35V - Trident Z RGB Series
they said that even the cpu limited to 3200 i wiil see some more performance.
i am not sure about it and it will downgrade my latency from 16 to 18.
what are you thinking about it?

Well, out of those two, check your motherboard QVL to make they are both on there first.. sure would suck to build a frustration box.

the question is if the 3600 mgh will give me any benefit, when the 5800x support only up to 3200.

Latency wise they would be about the same give or take. Bandwidth wise more is better. You can lower latency by overclocking, but you said you wont be doing that.

But if those 16GB sticks are dual rank, I would go with those.

Those 16GB sticks, as in that 32GB kit.

Somewhere along the line I could have sworn you said the C18 G.Skills were 2x8.. my mistake. I would go with G.Skill over Kingston personally, it’s just my preference..
