Ive made posts about fps problems before but eventually realized it was just my head messing with me. but gpu idles at 50c and my cpu 35-50c now that would be normal for idling right? well ya if both fans weren't constantly running at more than half speed and while gaming my gpu would be running at 83c in forza which is gpu intensive and 60-70 in warzone

cpu wold be in the high 60's and low 70's in most games

i also get a lot lag spikes in some intensive games like battlefield V

all in all i think ive narrowed it done to a cooling issue, any tips on how to reduce my temps?

specs:

i7 9700

Rtx 2060 Super gigabyte

2666mhz ddr4 8x2 ram (hyperx)

z390-pro (motherboard)

H510i NZXT case

Try to keep the PC case open,I guess....

Or change the environment around you.

My PC gets really hot now days cus of summer season.

room temperature (ambient temperature) is 21-24c

my pcs in a pretty open space

and do you think opening the glass side would do anything?

it also depends on ambient temps obviously.

My room temp is almost constantly 20C (for a few days during summer it can get warmer obviously) and my GPU/CPU both idle at around 35C.

My fans run at ~900rpm front, 700 CPU and exhaust, 800 for the PSU which also acts as exhaust. But when I make this 900, 500, 800 (less noise) my GPU/CPU will idle around ~40C. So case and case fans also play a not insignificant role. Unless you have a hot box like NZXT case, in which case all hope is lost. : D

its a good test you can do. if its like 5-10C cooler without  side panel that means u have bad airflow. if i open the side panel my temps get 1-2C lower, which means my airflow is pretty good for example.

ive tride controlling my fans using pc software but it would work and the only way i can control my fans are with the controller it came with apparently when i use the second fan speed option the fans are running at 1200rpm and for some reason my software picks up my cpu fan as 6.5k rpm which im assuming is bugged
