Hyper X Cloud 2 upgrade suggestions

Go to solution Solved by Slottr,

Cloud 2's aren't the best sounding but they're definitely the comfiest.

If you want a performance upgrade, there's the MH751/752

Wanting to upgrade or just buy another Hyper x Cloud 2, had them since 2016 - only just started getting issues with them. Bit worn out and the wire is exposed due to my dog being a dog. So, what I want is pretty much the same.  A usb headset that I can plug in and has a great mic with it. Price range: £100 max. Is there anything better than the Hyper X Cloud 2 at this price range?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I tend to have them on for 9-10 hours a day due to work, and also some gaming because yeah why not. Think I'll just rebuy the cloud 2s, thanks for the suggestion.

No don't do that. The MH752's are a definite sound upgrade with tweaked drivers since they are reskinned from the same studio monitor headphone series. The MH752's are actually the Takstar pro 82 whilst the Clouds are the Takstar pro 80. Do you see what I mean? Also the mic is much better on the MH752's. I'd even call these more comfier as well.

I mean 751/752 definitely comfier than cloud 2

I found the earcups on the C2's plushier, but those definitely aren't uncomfortable.

Ah I see seems to just be a difference in what we prioritise in comfort. I really like the CM's lighter clamp personally.
